They are run by parents\, they are more affordable\, they build community and at Woodland Park Cooperative School\, we bring together a diverse array of families who all value free play\, getting our hands covered in paint\, playing outside everyday\, eating fresh veggies off the vine and using real tools. We encourage kids to explore and express themselves freely. Problem solving\, independence and creative thinking are all apart of a day’s “work” here. Teachers and parents will be at the open house to answer questions about our Preschool’s 2’s\, 3’s and 4’s classes and Kindergarten class. We are located in Seattle in the heart of Fremont and are excited for the 2020-2021 school year! Visit us at our All School Open House to see if our school is a good fit for your family. Come see our play yard\, classrooms\, and meet Teacher Janice. \nParents from this year’s classes will also be there to answer questions. \nOur Parent Coordinators will be available to answer your Registration questions. \nWe have 5 classes serving children 12 months to 4 years. Our preschool classes share the same space and teacher. We are part of the North Seattle College (NSC) Co-operative Preschool program which means parent education is a big part of our school. Cooperative preschool is a wonderful way to introduce children to early learning and for parents to learn and grow as well. \nPreschool is a time for your child to explore\, engage and encounter. Preschool allows children to be exposed to new friends\, new challenges and new ideas. Between the ages of one and four\, children experience many changes and it is exciting to be part of their first learning experiences. Teacher Janice designs the curriculum\, using cooperative and creative play to enhance social\, emotional and intellectual development.
