This includes guidance on how to develop a disaster plan\, build a disaster supply kit\, and organize with your neighbors to become better prepared. \n\n\n\n\n\nThis event is free and open to the public!  \nBring cash for tasty treats: bake sale proceeds support scholarships for NSC Cooperative Preschools. \n\nWe are excited to partner with The Growler Guys for a PAC fundraiser/social after the lecture! \nThe Growler Guys will donate 15% of the evening’s sales to PAC. Adult content covers Narrative/Counter-Narrative\, Race in Media\, Racial Identity Development\, Colorblindness and Racial Identity Education\, Action Steps\, and Q&A. \n\n\n\n\nJasen Frelot is the Executive Director of Kids and Race\, a program which empowers adults and children to take responsibility for dismantling racism through honest conversations and loving action. Come see our play yard\, classrooms\, and meet Teacher Janice. \nParents from this year’s classes will also be there to answer questions. \nOur Parent Coordinators will be available to answer your Registration questions. \nWe have 5 classes serving children 12 months to 4 years. Our preschool classes share the same space and teacher. We are part of the North Seattle College (NSC) Co-operative Preschool program which means parent education is a big part of our school. Cooperative preschool is a wonderful way to introduce children to early learning and for parents to learn and grow as well. \nPreschool is a time for your child to explore\, engage and encounter. Preschool allows children to be exposed to new friends\, new challenges and new ideas. Between the ages of one and four\, children experience many changes and it is exciting to be part of their first learning experiences. Teacher Janice designs the curriculum\, using cooperative and creative play to enhance social\, emotional and intellectual development.
