DESCRIPTION:The Parent Advisory Council’s Fall lecture will feature Aidan Key\, founder of Gender Diversity\, an organization dedicated to providing educational services with respect and inclusion of transgender and gender-diverse children. \nIncreased familiarity with terminology and concepts related to transgender and gender nonconforming students of all ages. A clarifying delineation between gender idenity and gender expression as it relates to and is distinctive from biological sex and sexual orientation. Increased confidence and tools for having age-appropriate conversations about gender diversity with students of all ages\, and ability to knowledgeably discuss the topic of gender diversity with all parents and interested parties within the school community. Comprehension of legal and logistical responsibilities of schools and how to implement them with the greatest eas. \nCome hungry with cash!
