DESCRIPTION:Join the University-Ravenna Cooperative Preschool for a special lecture by Tom “Teacher Tom” Hobson\, renowned preschool educator and author\, on The Importance of Risky Play. \n\n\nChildren need to engage in risky play. Indeed\, it’s impossible to talk about play without also talking about risk\, and it is impossible to talk about being a parent without considering our obligation to keep children safe. Tom discusses how we can walk the fine line required to balance these often competing imperatives. \n\n\n$5 suggested donation supports the North Seattle College Parent Advisory Council (PAC) Scholarship Fund.
