Panel on Neurodiversity in the Preschool Setting

This panel brings together educators, clinicians, and parent educators with deep experience supporting neurodivergent children and families in early learning environments.

Panelists include:

Sarah Bien, MEd
PreK Teacher, Phinney Neighborhood Preschool Co-op
Over 40 years in early learning as a teacher, director, and family support specialist, helping families navigate questions about child development and behavior.

Jen Mullen, MSW (she/her)
Parent Educator, NSC Cooperative Preschools
Parent educator with 25+ years of advocacy experience and a parent of two neurodivergent children, passionate about supporting families and inclusion.

Nadia Rachel, LMHC
Child Mental Health Specialist & Registered Dance/Movement Therapist
Experienced in community mental health and school settings, providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive care for children and families.

Cesalie Stepney, PhD
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Clinical psychologist specializing in child development and mental health, supporting children and families through a strengths-based lens.
